Yeah, those the 90's Braves have put on quite a show so far. The rest of the history of the Braves hasn't done nearly as well though. The '98 version should roll into the next round though. I wonder how many of them will wind up in the same group in Round #2. It is bound to happen.

The Pirates are 21-7 in Round #1, thus far. They have 4 more teams in this group, I wonder if they can keep up their torrid pace. These teams aren't quite as dominant as some of the earlier Pirates teams.

Wow of all the Toronto teams (1985, 1987, 1989-1994), i think the 1986 team will get plastered in this field)

Don't give up on them just yet, they are 26-29 after May, which is very much in the running so far. Bell and Barfield are getting the job the job done, but few else are.

Where did those '32 Phillies come from?

And the '98 Braves are really turning it on now. I am surprised some of the earlier ones with Aaron didn't get farther. I guess one player can't carry a team in this tourney.

I have no idea, they are hitting .300 as a team. Chuck Klein has been dominant thus far(.386, 21, 99).

Those older Braves teams have been carried by Mathews more then Aaron for some reason. Aaron hasn't really had a dominant season yet. Warren Spahn was also on most of those teams, so it is kinda shocking they haven't done a little better.
