I was lucky enough to be able to recruit some old school real players, so that helped. I didn't like most of the guys on my high school baseball team, so that ruled them out

And1pg2 says he won't be able to continue with the Utica Bluesox, so we've contracted to 12 teams now. I put out a call for owners on the Online Leagues board, so we'll see whether that yields anything. If not, I wonder whether we should keep Jestor's team (he'd already submitted a number of names) and make Utica an "All-Forum" team, for which we allow individual board members to put themselves in - and insert others who don't volunteer to fill open spots! {sinister laugh}

I'll likely start on my players tomorrow. I just extremely bogged down at work this past week, and was away the past two weekends. Should have time this week to put together my team though.

So the worst-case scenario would be that we have 11 teams, which isn't bad at all, and it looks as if we'll likely have more than that. I'd really like to have 16, but that seems out of reach at the moment.

I'm sorry Elendil. Extenuating circumstances has resulted in that I can't finish what I started. If you want to fill in the remaining 20, be my guest. But right now, there is just too much going on in my personal life for this to take any preference. I apologize and wish you well.

OK, thanks, Vris. If you ever want to jump back in, feel free. I think I will fill out the rest of the Worcester roster with random players, since you've already created most of the active roster. It would be a shame to lose the whole team.

I've got eight of my hitters done, each of the main position players. Plan on doing about seven or eight pitchers and then I should be done. I have everything in that spread sheet. Do you want me to just upload the spreadsheet or write out each player?

Whichever way you prefer... Uploading the spreadsheet is fine, so long as it's in Excel 2000 format or earlier.

I've put together my starting eight, my five man rotation and a closer. I'm not gonna have any time to work on this during the weekend, so if you can, just round out the rest of my team. I'd like to have the maximum # of pitchers allowable, which is I think 15.
