How to check for version of Direct X and update if needed.
Go to start then run then type "dxdiag" and hit enter, this will open a utility that will show you what version of direct X is running. If it is not the most current(check the microsoft web page for the most updated) go to http://www.microsoft.com download, install and restart you PC then try the game again.
