Why would there be a need to change that?

1. on-line leagues that vote for their own awards and 2. god-mode owners that like to control everything including who win awards - I know it is no big deal, but for example when a mediocre SS wins the gold glove over Ozzie Smith for no good reason, it bugs me. in previous 6x I was able to make these changes by doing the following: for awards: edit the individual player pages simply by opening up the p#.txt file and adding in what you want, just make sure you put 3 periods at the end of the sentence. ie won AOBL owners award 2003... The txt files can be found in the players subfolder which is inside the league_News_Box folder within your league. You can also edit the leaguehistory from there as well.<o></o> <o></o> <o></o> <!--[if !supportLists]-->1.edit specific file (gg,poy,etc)<!--[endif]--> <!--[if !supportLists]-->2.edit lhistory.txt<!--[endif]--> <!--[if !supportLists]-->3.edit player pxxx.txt<!--[endif]--> <!--[if !supportLists]-->4.edit almanac (if necessary) <!--[endif]--> <!--[if !supportLists]-->a.specific page<!--[endif]--> <!--[if !supportLists]-->b.player page for gold glove: To change gold glove MUST BE DONE BEFORE END OF SEASON FOR CORRECT ALAMANC

OK, you can already edit any player's history, modify a record or delete a record or even add a record.
Plus, it is easy to give the same history for several players. By design, if you add a history line to a player, then pick out a different player, the other modified history line is still there. You just have to click ADD and then save.. Do you want the ability to search for all players with a certain history 'phrase' and display them? So, you enter 'Gold Glove' as the search phrase and all players with Gold Glove in their history (for that year) are displayed, you can simply click on their name on the left and their history is displayed. Click on the Gold Glove line and it is removed, click Save and then do the next player. Quote:

I was looking to change it in the broader sense of the entire games history.
I can see with this utility how to add it to one guy and remove it from another, but I don't see any possibility for changing the league historical record, they way I was able to in the past (by editing lhistory and almanac files) of course this is no big deal, but it would be nice to be able to do, however with this versions broader scope, this might be a bit more then is possible. I am still holding out hope that one day Markus will add the option for us to vote for all awards ourselves.

Added a SEARCH function under BULK CHANGES.
Enter a phrase, such as GOLD GLOVE and it will search all the history files for the players and display them all on the left. This could be handy for something.

Added another simple mod. Click on team and it will display the HTML part of a team name. <a href... etc..
Put in a team name and their team number (listed on the left) and then you can add text in front of or in back off and the team link will work in the game. i.e. Rumored to be pricing houses in Boston during the offseason. I wanted to add the 'trade rumors' from the news, but there is no date stamp on them, so I do not know when they appeared. Do those just happen during the off season?

Is this particular utility compatible with v2007, Larry?

Okay, I'm missing something or having a flashback. There's a player history editor built in to v2007?

Wow. You missed a big new feature. Just go to the player's individual history and there's the button. One of more than 100 new things to love about OOTP 2007.
