Databases (Gambo and Spritze) do not show Negro leaguers, etc.

Since 9 and all the patches, using these databases the added players (japan, minors, negro leaguers) still do not show up !!

OOTP 8 they work just fine. I really like these databases but I cannot get either to work any more.

Any thoughts ??

Well, I do not use the Gambo db but in the Spritzified db I am not having any challenges with the extra players

BUT

I understand that the built-in neutralized stats only work with the built-in Lahman and if you try to use neutralized stats with any mod db all the added players in the mod are ignored.

Thumbs up

Sorry it took me so long .

I do not use the "neutralized stats" option

Hmmmm, I am going to try again but I am sure I am missing something. In OOTP8 I just removed the 5 .csv files from the original and replaced those with your 5 csv's. That worked great, Now that doesnt work ! I used to see Free Agents no matter what year I started in. Now i get none. even using the default Lahman, no free agents ! I have uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail !

I am probably having a "Brain f..t" here !

Thanks for the help !

Make sure you are choosing the correct master.csv.

All I can say is it works well for myselves.

There, I knew there had to be more than one of you!

Seriously, though, I haven't had any problem with the database either. I would suggest, backing up the original db first and label it appropriately then go in and add those five files, overwriting the original csv files in the correct folder. Also, I agree with you Spritze that it might be that he is not choosing the correct master.csv.
Other than that, I am certainly at a loss as to why the problem is occuring.

The only thing in any db that controls what players show up when is the master.csv file. So most likely something is untoward there.

It seems that by a process of elimination, the file "historical_database.odb" is the culprit. If I move that to my backup folder (for safe keeping) and replace the correct .csv files it works like it used too, Free Agents, etal !! When I put it ("historical_database.odb") back, they go away (no Free Agents)

So I guess I am fixed !?!?
