player history editing

Back in the days of OOTP 6.5 I used Pierre's excellent utilities to make changes to player data, usually past-season stats. Is there a tool yet to do the same for OOTP9?

I'm not sql savvy but my desire is to go through my players.dat and convert every reference of year '2005' to year '1957'. If anyone can even point me to a utility outside of OOTP that will do that as a batch process, I'd be one happy camper.

Yep, I have one.

Anderson Utilities for OOTP2007

Go to page 2 and scroll down to AUPlayersHistory2007

Make sure you go to the site with IE and not FIREFOX.

You can edit individual players history, add random events, add items, like Walkoff Home runs, and, what you want. A bulk search and replace.

Back up the history folder before doing it, in case you make a boo boo.

It will work for version 9.

WOW. Just used that for the first time in a bulk process. That's incredible.

Man, I really am looking forward to your converting some of the other programs!

Thanks! I thought of AU initially but wasn't sure it was OOTP9-friendly.
