widgets
Hi I created widgets for my website for the standings and leaders. Works great when using IE but not mozilla-firefox. Is it not compatible with firefox or do I need to do something else?

BUT I do see that your website uses joomla which is notorious for having incompatibilities with IE. Because of that there are separate CSS files for a few versions of IE. |

we moved
we are now AHIBA3. I moved to simnation. I gotta change my signature. It seems to work fine with IE and google chrome but not safari and mozzilla. Could be a joomla problem.

I recently installed this for the OTBA. I'm getting some errors I can't figure out. I have all patches installed. Hopefully someone can help me. Thanks in advance!
First, on the Managers screen I see this error: Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /homepages/3/d90035788/htdocs/otba/OTBA/ootpsqlou/managers.php on line 85 I see a similar error on the Exports screen: Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /homepages/3/d90035788/htdocs/otba/OTBA/ootpsqlou/exports.php on line 107 Last Sim Box Scores - StatsLab for OOTPX Last edited by BleedingCubbyBlue; 03-19-2010 at 09:16 AM. |

Is there anything I should do differently at the end of the season as far as Statslab is concerned?
Also, am I supposed to hit each button after every sim? (ex: player dev, win shares, career position or whatever, etc.) |

You should hit all of the buttons at the end of the season. During the season, you don't need to bother with Career Metrics or Similarity scores if you don't care to have them updated with every sim. If you want updated Win Shares and/or Park Factors during the year, then you'll want to hit all the other buttons. Career Position, Park Factors, Season Metrics, and Win Shares are what I'd recommend during the year, with Career Metrics and Similarity Scores only at the end of the year, but it doesn't hurt anything to hit them after each sim. Always click them in the order they appear on the screen. Also make sure you update them before the season rolls over to the next year - which happens at the end of the postseason. There's no postseason data included in any of these buttons, so you can click them as soon as the regular season is over even if you haven't crowned your champion yet. At this time, there's nothing else needs to happen at the end of each year.

Thanks for the reply.
My league is only 22 team, and not much history yet, so I have just been doing each button after every sim. Perhaps we could get a one button that binds them all? "One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them, One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them" ![]() |

MySQL amateurs don't match in-game amateurs
I'm at a loss on this one, though I'm sure it's something simple. We started our ammy draft today but found that there are players who came out of the MySQL as ammy's who are not in the game as ammy's. I'm stumped.

This can happen if they're feeder league players who are set to reach the graduation age by the time your draft occurs. OOTP doesn't add players to the draft pool from feeder leagues until they actually hit that age. If that doesn't appear to be it, shoot me a link with an example.

Trying to help BCB out here a bit, but the league has 18 set as the maximum age for high schoolers and there are a mix of 18 and 19 year olds currently in the draft pool. However, all of the 18 year olds will turn 19 before the actual start of the draft. Will the utility still pick up these 18 years olds even if we set the high school age to 19? We basically want to get started on the draft using the utility before the actual draft date.

Thanks for the help. It looks like we got things set up correctly now, however, when I was comparing the StatsLab draft pool with the in-game draft pool there was one big issue I found. A player that was injured on his college team and eligible for the draft does not show up in the StatsLab draft pool but does in the OOTP draft pool. Has anyone else experienced this?

N/m I guess it would actually help to see which players were actually drafted already. Looks like we're good to go.
