Export/Import

I don't use the export/import function, but have a question just out of curiousity. I was looking at the files that can be exported to .csv files. There's a lot of them. However, it seems that only a few (rosters, players, stats, etc) can be imported after making changes. Just wondering why the option to export some files (nations, cities, etc.) is offered.

The dumps I donīt understand. SQL, Access and CSV

They are complete not only stats, so how do one import all this if one made changes.
It seams to span the whole data file structure not only stats.

Couldnīt players from other "universe" be added in an mass this way. The only thing to look for should be plaier ID .

The manual doesnīt say how to import those dumps, only how to import rosters, stats.

That is not what they are designed for. They are designed so you can export the data out to use in Speadsheets and other programs. But not imported back in.

That is something at least a few have been asking for since version 9 (probably before), the ability to import the .csv files back into the game. I have a league that moved from 6.5 to 2007 and lost a lot of history in game in the move. Lucky for us, we kept all of the 6.5 (and before) history, so it is all there waiting to be added back into the game manually. The only problem is that OOTP doesn't allow you to make any edits to things like this (past Gold Gloves, all-stars, etc), inside or outside the game.
