New computer won't play the game

I posted this under the general disucssions board, but wanted to re-post here to broaden the number of folks who might be able to help. I realize this is not a database issue, however I believe those of you who frequent this forum would have the knowledge to assist. Please read and help if you can.
PLEASE HELP!! I bought a new laptop and went about getting it set up. I am playing OOTP 11, so I saved all my league stuff from my old laptop to a shared drive, installed OOTP 11, successfully licensed it, then copied my files from the shared drive to the new computer's OOTP directory. The game will load, but when I try to open the game I get an error that says "An error occured while loading database. Could not load world file". I have copied and pasted all night and I am at my wit's end. I am not very computer literate, but I'm not a dummy either; just need some help. Two notes; when I go to the load game screen, it does see my old league's name, it just won't complete the open. Also, my old computer was WinXP and the new one is Win 7. I don't know if that matters, but it may be relevant. Can anyone help?
