Almanac and Database

Question for the DB guys as I have just tried saving an almanac as a test for the first time

Can you use the almanac, CSV file feature to create a database that could be used in another game (in historical mode)
If so, what are the checkboxes required to be sure all the key elements that would turn up in a Lehman-style db happens?

I just did a test and got the players info, team info and the like- but all of the players individual stats from the year (which is what is really needed for a db) did not appear

So just curious if this is possible. If so I might keep an almanac with a fun league I am starting in order to turn around and use it for a db later on
