PBP editor disabled my game

Guys:
I saw the PBP Editor and downloaded it -- not realizing it apparently doesn't work with the 2007 game. Now my OOTP 2007 doesn't work anymore.
Now, when I try to open the game, I get a message that says the update wasn't able to load because "installed version is newer than this update." My only option at that point is to "exit." Then, I'm back where I started.
How do I fix this?

Reinstall OOTP 2007. Make sure you backup/copy any leagues you want to keep.

Speaking of that utility, it was created by halos17. I have tried PMing him but so far have gotten no reply. Does anyone know him personally? I want to ask him, if he's interested, to update his text editor for OOTP2007.
