Background and Text Colors for MLB Teams 1901-2006
Attached file contains suggested hex codes for team background and text colors for the MLB teams from 1901-2006.
I tried to get as exact a match as I could off of the color samples I have.... If you notice something odd, it might be a typo (there were a lot of colors)....let me know so I can correct it. |

I figured out background colors for every organziation linked with the MLB (minus the Mexican League and Venezuelan Summer League). For readability I'm using nothing but white (code=FFFFFF) for text. I'm not a big fan of mixing teams' primary and secondary as it can make them hard to see, ie the Diamondbacks.

Not to belittle any of the work you guys have done, but here's a very small (about 62kb) program I found at download.com called Pixie:
http://www.download.com/Pixie/3000-2...ml?tag=lst-0-1 ![]() The above screen shot is about three times the actual size. When you run it it is always on top, so you can always see it. Simply hover your mouse over any point on your screen (on a color you want) and press ctrl+alt+c. This will copy the html color code of this color. Then you can simply use ctrl+v to paste it on the field you want in the team options page. It's very simple and fast to use and you can use any color on your screen, which is great for obscure and fictional logos. |
