Historical Minor League Uniforms
I'm currently working on recreating historical uniforms and logos for the minor leagues beginning in 1901. I don't claim any of these as being completely accurate, but something that will give players the feel of being in that era.
This will ultimately be a part of a 1901 historical quickstart that includes the minor leagues in some form or fashion. More information on that will soon follow, I'm sure But for now, this is what I've finished for the Eastern/International League up through about the 1930's:

Thanks for the comments. Hopefully these are going along ok. Besides rounding out the "AAA" leagues with the PCL, would there be any other suggestions for leagues to look into?
I ask because I'm not yet sure how we can handle the minors, historically speaking, because they aren't working the greatest if we leave them as unaffiliated independents. If we use affiliated teams, then no problem. We'd just have to round out the different levels. Sort of like Tigerfan's old 1930 quickstart for OOTP2006. |

No Pepper, do you have a template you're willing to share for the 1900 and 1910 jerseys?
If so, cooleyattotalsportsworlddotnet If it helps you, I have some PCL stuff on PadreFan's site along with some other historical sets. Last edited by Cooleyvol; 09-04-2007 at 06:45 AM. |

Good work Pep! Too bad independent minors are not setup exactly to mirror early historical minors.

No Pepper, these are absolutely amazing, as usual. I have a little bit of a request, although i do feel a little like i'm trying to steal your brilliant work!
Since you put these up i've been messing around trying to get the collars like you have on several of the 1910 shirts (Buffalo, Newark, Toronto etc), but i just cannot get it right. I was wondering if maybe you could post (or PM me) the neck part of any of them so i can whack it into the jerseys i'm doing for my league? If not, no worries, i shall just have to wait patiently like everyone else for when you release this awesome set! |

These are awesome!
Are the uniforms available for download anywhere or are you waiting to finish everything up?

Ktulu, I'm gonna try and finish the 3 major "AAA" leagues and then see about a release?

These look awesome!! This is probably a stupid question, but when you're creating the jersery and cap logos, how do you do the fonts? Do you manually draw each one or do you have certain fonts where you can just type what you want and it comes out looking like that? I've wanting to try to create some logos and jersey and cap logos, but with my very limited graphics skills, drawing out each font is completely out of the question for me.Also, what program do you use?
