I must say I was a little underwhelmed when I downloaded the mod and just opened up one of the ballparks in an image viewer, but after putting them in game, I'm loving them. Thanks a bunch for the hard work!

I have no idea what the problem is, but I can't get this to work with a new season I started. I used the MLB quickstart, the images are in the ballparks folder, and I dropped the parks.dat into my save folder.

How can I manually add these?

Edit: I reinstalled OOTP and now they work. How odd.

Will we be seeing older parks as well?

Well, I really didn't want to get into doing more these due to the work involved, but I guess I could do one here and there when I have the time.

Here's one now...

Lemme know what ballpark you would like to see most.

PadresFan, (whisper voice) If you ask for one old time stadium at a time Justafan will never notice he's made them all.

Justafan, great work. I think I'll try making my own for a 19th century league I plan to start.

I like PadreFans choices....for a start!!! Listen, I use those parks in my games at first I thought I wouldn't like them because they were without fans, etc. but I never looked at those things anyway. What I like about the parks are they are very clean and make reading the players very easy. So, again, great job and hey, if you can roll them out one at a time, I know I would certainly appreciate that very much.

When MLB front office is released for the Pc in January, it looks like we might get some great new ballpark images out of it.

This is the first I'd heard of it. I did some snooping around this morning and this game looks awesome. I doubt very much that the sim engine will be on par with OOTP but the game as a whole looks to be very much the direction I always hoped OOTP would evolve.

I checked it out too and it seems like it would be a good game, you never know though. If someone can get the stadium images that would be sweet. Here is one of Wrigley Field.

OOTP10 cannot compete with these stadium graphics. That doesn't mean that Markus cannot improve the graphics in other areas of the game. Some of us have urged him to emulate the webcast display of MLB.com or ESPN.com. In particular, OOTP10 could make better use of dropdown menus. On the Hamels graphic (above), basic stats are displayed below his picture. Other stats can be accessed through the Extra Stats dropdown menu. This, if emulated, could vastly improve the Webcast screen in OOTP10. The inning summary in the upper right hand corner is helpful, too. It even includes an Expand option. Nice.

These pictures are what these big companies want you to focus on,sure it looks great, but when its released,I promise you it will like NFL head coach be quite shallow and not a very good simulation of the sport.Personally I'm no longer wowed by screen shots,I've bought too many Madden's and MLB 2K's that promise the world and deliver nothing.I'd much rather Markus focus his resources on improving the AI to make the game more challenging,as well as tweaking the injury model to better recreate real MLB injures(more short termers, less long ones) this to me is the direction the game needs to go in.

Are you using Illustrator?

I'd love to see a basic tutorial on how you're doing these?
