MLB Ballparks?

With the new ball animation coming soon I thought it would be nice to have some new ballparks to go with it and this is what I came up with...

Do you think these would work well with the animation? If not, what can I do to make it better?

Should I complete the 30 team set?

Would anyone use these?

Here's another one outside of the game that you can try for yourself...

These look awesome. Hopefully a beta tester can check em out and see how they look.

I think the look great, however for me, the only reason I like the broadcast mode, is to see the real ballparks. I wish we could somehow use these in the webcast mode....they would be really great there. I use the MVP ballparks and like them because they are all uniform as far as player positions(as yours are) and they have night and day. But I have a feeling getting any of the new parks in this version will be impossible since companies are no longer making graphical baseball games for the PC.

Yes, these are pretty uniform as far as alignment goes. I didn't want to have to relocate the player markers for every ballpark so I thought I'd try this. The ball animation will still need to be adjusted for each one though due to different outfield dimensions.

Well, these are a lot of work to do, so I wanted to know if anyone will use these before I went all out on the 30 teams. I would also like to know if they work well with the new animations.

I make these by tracing an image to create a vector that I can then manipulate, so unless you have an image with a top view of the park you want, no dice. Also, there's a lot of work in making these, so I don't want to go crazy doing them.

I lub them as well and would lub to have my fictional, historical league parks done in this manner, but I understand the work load involved and therefore, I'm not going to make a request. But I really like these even if I don't have a use for them but I am sure that others would use them because they look so goooood!

If the ball animation is enabled in OOTP9, the wall distances will automatically be shown on the ballpark image. Do you still want to include that tiny image in the lower right hand corner, justafan, since it also shows the wall distances?

I did not know that. I guess I'll wait to see what it looks like when I get the game next week, then I may redo them without the dimensions. Thanks

I'm almost done with these, but I'll post just one more here, then by release day I'll have them all zipped up and ready to download.

I'll have a new logo set available by then too.

Happy release day!!!

I wanted to get these out today due to the game being released tomorrow and the board possibly going down with all the extra traffic.

Here are all 30 MLB ballparks...
