Logo Request for the Upper Canada League
I'd appreciate it if someone would please design a series of 9 logos for my Upper Canada League dynasty.
I'd like one logo for the league, and one for each of the 8 teams: Barrie Blues Belleville Bears Brantford Mounties Guelph Stags Kingston Royals Kitchener Knights Oshawa Wheels Peterborough Red Sox The league begins in the 1930s, so designs that capture the feel of that era would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I like it, truthserum. Since the league is currently in 1946, it's just fine if some of the logos look a little more "modern." I'm thinking more about the color schemes, the basic design, that kind of thing.
I think the lettering has a "retro" feel that I believe I've seen somewhere, in pictures from that era. Thanks!

Thanks...I'd hoped to be able to use them both in the game and here on the forum. These are going to work great.

I'm seeing the other teams' colors like this:
Brantford: red, black, white Guelph: green, gold, white Kingston: purple, white Kitchener: black, silver, white Oshawa: gold, black, white Peterborough: navy, red, white As far as the logos themselves, I'll leave that up to you. I think you're capturing the feel of the 1930s and 1940s that I'm looking for.

ok...good timing on the colors and glad I asked.
![]() Just working on a Stags logo that resembles the old St. Louis Browns logo. Not too late to change the colors, where it is easy. I was actually doing that one in red, black and white. ![]() Not sure what I am going to come up with for the Mounties. That one is sounding like that one is going to be the toughest. Ok...here's the Guelph Stags. I, also, changed the other 150x150 logos, to direct links instead of attached images. That will make it easy for you to link your logos in your dynasty thread.

Peterborough Red Sox
I read a little bit on your dynasty thread and saw the history of the name. I used the P in the Boston Red Sox font as a tribute, but refrained from using that font in the name per 'their' request. Hopefully, I caught the feel of it. ![]() ![]()

Nice contribution, Sbufkle!
Does the fact that Bobby Orr played his junior hockey in Oshawa have anything to do with the Bruins-like feel of that Wheels logo? The Oshawa Generals are retiring Orr's number this week, by the way. I don't think he wore #4 in juniors, though. I think I remember seeing a photo of him from those days, and he was wearing #2. Anyway, thanks for the logo!

The logo is simply the Gens logo from that time but instead of a G, I made it the O.... Im not a Bruins fan (Not when your from Montreal!!) but Orr was the best Hockey player ever IMHO... |

The gray works just fine. Thanks! They look really good. Not too ornate, but that fits the mood of the league very well.

DAMMIT.....it's Upper Canada League and not Upper Canada Baseball League!!! Proof you should always double check. I went with the initials because I thought it was the long name. At any rate, what do you think of this as a league logo, before I make the change? I could also take out the wreath and banner and just put the words above and below the country part and simplify it. What were you envisioning as a league logo?

I was looking at "UCL" and deciding it just didn't look right. "Upper Canada BASEBALL League is a much better name anyway. It's easy to change the references in the dynasty. Keep the logo the way it is, please.
Needless to say, I really like the logo. The wreath and banner are great. And the map gives the impression that the league might expand geographically into more of Ontario, which is a distinct possibility in the future.

Bumping this back up to the top, because I'm only lacking one more logo: the Brantford Mounties.
![]() Thanks again for your contributions, guys.
