Excellent. Looking great.
I tried to fiddle around with the directions given in ts's post. It's going to take some time, and a lot of questions. ; ) |

Fire away with any questions you have. I'll keep an eye on the thread while davwms finishes up your logos, to see if you have any.
The hardest part to learn is prolly the script to fit in and arc correctly. But once you get the hang of it, it is real easy. The main thing about the script, if you look at knucklers' tutorial, is that when you resize the Austin script to fit between the two yellow lines, is that you have to keep width and height the same. For example, if you gotta make the script a little smaller and go 90% on the height, you have to change the width to 90% also. Otherwise when you start arc'n the 'Austin', the script is going to look squashed and not look right. |

I'll probably PM you over at TSW with questions (name there is jcomey). Right now, I'm just having issues getting started. I have Photoshop 6.0. I haven't played around with it too much, as I spent most of the day out. But I will do some tonight or tomorrow, for sure.

To finish these up... San Francisco Seals, Santa Fe Locomotives, & Seattle Raniers.
For the rounded text, I actually prefer to set a path to place the text on. If you are making many logos of the same type, all you have to do is change the text, and don't have to worry about fitting the text where you want it. |

Thank you, sir. I would gladly take that. There are 48 more teams for me, and I will be seeing what I can do with them. ; )
