One logo request
Hi there,
I'm looking for a team logo for an online league I'm in .. The team is the Ottawa Windigos.. So it's a little bit less common of a name than most... So really I'm hoping to get someone creative on this, (I'm definitely not) as I can't really think of a good idea for a logo ... Need background on what the heck a Windigo is? Go here: Wendigo - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia I'm hoping to get a cap logo and a team logo. The cap logo I'd love if it was just an intertwined OW, with kind of classic but futuristic type lettering, if that makes any sense at all. The main logo, as I said, I'll leave it up to the masses and hopefully someone can come up with something creative from poking around on the internet ... I'm not too fussy on colour schemes, so use what you think would be best .. Although perhaps purple and black might work? Anyway, any help would be great. Thanks. |

Very nice, thanks so much for doing that..
I'm wondering if I could request a few minor changes .... I might change my mind or warm up to it after I look at it more, but I'm not so big on the horns/antlers I don't think. On the first one, do you think you could perhaps make it a darker purple colour, and maybe eliminate the horns and just make that face a bit bigger? Also, I really like the one with the just plain O for a cap logo. Do you think you could make it with like an interlocking O and W though? Is that possible? And also eliminate the horns/antlers ... As I'd just kind of like a simple hat logo. Anyway, whatever you can do would be great .. Thanks so much. |

Haha actually, already I am liking the horns/antlers more... But, a darker purple colour at least on the first one would be cool .. Maybe keeping the horns/antlers woudl be better though, I don't know, now I'm torn ...
I would also like to see what they would look like without .. But yeah, I'm just wondering how did you come up with the idea? Admittedly I don't know a ton about Windigos either, so what made you decide on that? Last edited by ripwalk; 12-05-2008 at 09:33 PM. |

Also I don't know if you create jersey logos too but if you could whip one of those up that says Ottawa or Windigos or something else equallty ingenious, I would be grateful.

Alright I've changed my mind and I think I like the antlers on the first logo, although would still like a deeper/darker purple if possible...
Sorry for changing my mind so much .. I'd still be interested in seeing if you could do something with an intertwined O and W for a hat logo though, perhaps with and without antlers, heh... |

[QUOTE=davwms;2632343]In researching what a Windigo is, I found several instances that portrayed a wendigo to be basically a dear head on a human body.
For instance: Wendigo Studios (Video Game Design): ![]() [QUOTE] I really like this graphic above.. Do you think you could perhaps work a logo around that picture? Maybe have it as the background kind of with the words over top of the logo? |

I just stumbled on this thread and just last week I was wondering who made this logo. Ripwalk asked for it for the CBL and recently someone took over the team again and asked for an avatar. I supplied him with the last one posted above (I try to save our logos for just such requests) and we both remarked how much we liked it. Awesome job, davwms!
