Turn Ahead The Clock Uniforms

While perusing ESPN.com I ran across this old blog about the Seattle Mariners' 1998 "Turn Ahead The Clock" promotion. I was curious if any of the uniform makers out there would be interested in making these uniforms. Here are some better pictures of most of the jerseys. I don't have the software to attempt the jerseys with texturing and shadows the way I've seen on here, so I'll leave it to the experts if they are interested. If not, I'll wait until the actual year 2021. Thanks.

The one-game promototion in Seattle in '98 went over well though. Everybody had fun with it (especially Griffey). As usual, MLB took the idea corporate and went too far with it.

Here are some very quick samples of what these could look like in-game. Maybe a uni-modder will be inspired. I made the logos on some of the caps too big (KC and PIT) and the Padres and Mets jerseys need work. And without the great textures that I've seen on other unis, these look like a simple cut and paste job, which is more or less what it was. Never-the-less, I don't think they look too bad, as far as design. (I left out the original gold Royals jersey...I'm not sure why.)

Fantastic job. If I ever go back to playing a real roster, these are the type that I would like when my leagues move into the future.
