No Pepper, great stuff! For the high level minors, what sources did you use for the uniforms? Are they all historically accurate or did you have to make some educated guesses?

I believe I researched every minor league team that I've included. That involved simple but often deep google searches, Spalding Guides of 1900-1920's, Ebbet's Flannels and other jersey sites to gather up anything I could. I'm sure I missed a lot. I would have enjoyed more to have researched other media but those weren't as readily available. If I made guesses it was for the earlier teams or references I found only in black and white, and that was just for color. But after all, they are all representations and I make no claim they are 100% accurate. I certainly wasn't able to find all the teams I wanted, so I mainly stuck with teams that stuck around for awhile. Of course, I stopped in the 60's when all hell broke loose and teams/affiliations moved, folded, realigned, etc. Thanks for the comments!

Thanks. I've been researching some historical teams and found it's often hit or miss. I found Google Books can be very helpful (if you haven't figured that out already).

Hope it is not too late to locate this information! I have asked justafan for help in doing so many NPB logos in history. He is about to complete all of them. Please check the following thread. http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...request-5.html In addition, Last year I also submited NPB player photos to Padresfan site for download. Right now, my idea is to make murmur33 NPB mod have better picture effect! I am wondering when we can enjoy your Japanese historical uniforms. I must say they look so amazing !

By the way, justafan also finished all the logos of Japanese independent leagues two weeks ago. If possible, could you share Japanese uniforms? That will make some fictional league mod more fun! http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...request-2.html

A bit of a backburner project is to restyle my collection of MLB uniforms. So far I've gotten to the mid 40's with the Boston Braves and Brooklyn, home and away. I know there are sets out there, but would this be worthwhile to people?

Thanks guys. I've sent the American Independent Leagues to Padresfan's site and await news of receipt. I'll update my posts when these become available.
I'll have the Japanese independent leagues up but I realized I have no team logos, unless they are available somewhere already (that I haven't done them myself)? |
