Hi No Pepper, I love these uniforms. I was wondering if you have ever made (or plan to make) uniforms for the New York-Penn League or the South Atlantic League. It seems like I've seen these before, but I can't remember where I saw them. I remember seeing teams like the Binghamton Triplets and the Macon Peaches on these boards before.
EDIT: Sorry, just found this thread. I'm still interested in the rest of the leagues, though.

NY-Penn/South Atlantic of today or yesterday? Regardless, I don't have current plans to do so, no, sorry. I've got other sets to release, especially my Negro Leagues set that needs to be completed.

Vintage uniforms, 1930's or so. That's okay, I was thinking of doing a few myself, but I wanted to make sure they hadn't already been done. I found a few that I was looking for in the above thread. Thanks for the quick reply.

Yesterday morning I was able to get home unis done for the Cubs, up to 1930. It went relatively fast but I've got road jerseys next. But that's it. Slow going unless I really put my head down on this and plow through. Here they are:

A quick note: I've updated previous posts in this thread with links to recently uploaded sets of Japanese Independent Baseball and new Historical Japanese uniform pack that includes teams from the early beginnings of professional baseball, the Big Six universities, a few from post-WWII, and from 1979.
I've also have my Semi-historical Class D league uniforms uploaded, which can be found in this thread and downloaded here. |

Yeah, New York-Penn unis from the 1930s would be the aWesome. I just added in all the AA and A level leagues into the big boring dynasty I run and these unis are fantastic! 5 of the 7 minor leagues are covered; we're only missing NY/PENN and the Western League (which was populated by some pretty small towns so I'm not really sure that it was truly a class A league anyway).
Speaking of which, your AA/International League file is missing the Albany Senators. And the Southern Association is without the Knoxville Smokies, though this might be because they were before the scope of the project.

Thanks guys. If I missed teams, it mostly is a reason of lack of a photographic reference or the team wasn't in the league for about 10 years to make the cut. Okay okay, maybe that's taking the shortcut.
As far as the MLB restyling...same progress the last time you asked! If I do get back to it, and I've had some inkling to, I'll crack out the home jerseys and release something. I've done the road jerseys because I like some of them more than the home and it adds a bit of variety, even if the game doesn't support multiple jerseys for each team. |

Okay, I've cut down the workload and have completed the deadball era for the American League. National League is 50% complete.

Hey, NP... where are you getting your infos on these unis? A Google search on "historical minor league uniforms" brings up... this thread.

Syd, my primary source is from the Hall of Fame uniform exhibit/database found here: National Baseball Hall of Fame - A History of the Baseball Uniform - Introduction
Unfortunately some/most of Mr. Okkonen's drawings don't have the resolution to make my recreations 100% accurate (colors, piping, etc). Neither does OOTP. I also had used the Cooperstown Cap Company website, but they are unfortunately out of business. For the minors, that's a bit tougher. I took a less than exhaustive approach because clearly not all teams have online (and free) references. I guess I could hunt for tangible archives but that's beyond my scope. They're out there I'm sure, I just haven't pursued it. It's just google searches for individual teams. Most of them have come from jersey companies like Ebbets Flannels, Distant Replays, etc. No secrets from me, just put in the time or decide to create a fictional likeness. If you should require any teams I've missed or not out there, just make a request or PM me.

Ebbets Field Flannels and Distant Replays are *fantastic* sources, thanks already! I didn't even think of them. I do know about the Dressed to the Nines exhibit and in fact have been using that for my own major league uniforms with some success. The minor league ones had flummoxed me though... until now. Thanks again!
