![]() The first Colonial League was a one-season affair, playing in Organized Baseball only in 1914 in Massachusetts and Rhode Island and also outside O.B. in 1915 expanding into Connecticut where they operated as an independent league for a season. A class B Colonial League was established in 1947 in New York, New Jersey, & Connecticut and lasted four seasons. There has been no further play in either of the Colonial Leagues since the closing in 1945. ![]() Semi-pro baseball league ![]() Colonial League for Interscholastic Sports, Inc. I assumed it was for a custom league, not a reproduction of a historical league.
Obviously my logo isnt historically accurate in any way, and you've done all the legwork for Bottom of the Sixth.

Thanks Gern44 for the logo; pretty neat looking.
Davwms, thanks for the history note. I actually was not aware of anything historical with the league. I am attempting to create a fictional MLB League, with fictional players, that starts out in 1900. The charter teams will be teams from the states that make up most or close to the original 13 colonies. As of now, my charter teams are: Albany Admirals Baltimore Badgers Buffalo Browns Cambridge Cavalry Charleston Chiefs Durham Ducks Newport Navigators Plymouth Pilgrims Portsmouth Pirates Raleigh Raiders Richmond Rebels Wilmington Wildcats My "plan" is to run the league/division until around 1910 and then merge a Pioneer League/Division of another 12 teams which will include the states West of the charter league states, mainly Midwest states. This is when I plan to start playing a World Series. Somewhere later on, I'll create a Western or "Oregon Trail" League/Division that will merge into the Colonial & Pioneer League that will help add some western states into the mix, which will help mimic the real MLB three Division setup. Basicaly, the league will grow as the US did with the settlers traveling West. |

I came across this logo while doing my own colonial search. Its a good one except there is no place to add the the word League to it.
![]() You guys wouldn't happen to have a suggestion or idea for a Oregon Trail League Logo, would you? Thanks |

davwms,
Any chance you might be able to attempt a Oregon Trail logo with a cattle skull in the shape of the Colonial League logo you altered earlier? ![]() Its the only decent one I've came across. Thanks |

Just throwing this out there. Maybe it might help. I used this for a pioneers logo. With the Pioneer league logo you could alter it maybe.
