Another New Logo Style - Expos-esque
I liked CodyG's http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...2010-logo.html so much that I decided to try a shot at a logo style based on an older logo.. the Montreal Expos '92-'04...
I threw together a few different ones here as well as Montreal's with different color schemes...

AWESOME!! Not to beat a dead horse, but I wonder which other logo designs we could duplicate? Here are five from the AL I think could be reasonably possible. Kansas City's looks very similar to the Twins logo I used. I was just looking at the logo template folder and now I'm wondering if these could replace some/all of the busier looking templates provided in-game. I'm just not sure about the lettering
I may be biting off more than I can chew now.

I was looking at that also, but the problem to me is the lettering and fonts. I don't think it can "handle" curved text, and I don't think there is a way to set a specific font for a specific logo..

Using Paint Shop Pro I can add any text using any font to an ellipse, arc or curved line. I create the curved object and then add the text along the path. I then turn the curved object layer off so that just the text is visible. Script fonts may be a problem. Fancy fonts could also be problematic. The main issue is you need to use small fonts for most logos. The Texas Rangers would use an 8 or 10 point font for a 150x150 logo. Small fonts loose their detail. Making a 300x300 logo and resizing would loose some detail. I think the Angels logo with the crossed bats and shield could be used by adding a script logo. The Red Sox, Royals and Rangers are similar to what you've been experimenting with. The more logo options the merrier.

Yes but the game cannot. As far as I know, there's no way of telling the game which font and/or size to use, let alone where to put the text.
