Anyone want to design a new logo for the Jays?

I'm a huge Jays fan, but you know what I'm not a fan of? That black and grey crap that they now call a uniform. I grew up watching the Jays in the early and mid-90's and miss the old unies.

Is there anyone here who's interested in designing a new logo, cap and jersey for the Jays? I would do it, but I'm not exactly a graphic artist, and I know that there are others who would enjoy this.

If you are interested, I'm looking for something that incorporates the old colours and could maybe be a moderized version of the old uniforms/logo. I realize I could just use the old logo, but I'd prefer something more modern.

I would like to offer you something I put together while watching some baseball/basketball tonight. I am nowhere near the level for which most produce graphics, it's just something I like to do for fun and like to share now and again.

Here's my take on a new Blue Jays logo.. Tried to keep it similar to the original logo but just "modernize" the bird's head...

Thanks everyone for your help here. I've decided on a final logo and uniforms that I will implement in my next season. Thanks especially to HarperK and reds1 for your ideas. Let's hope the Jays figure out that it's the BLUE Jays and not the Grey Jays
