Non-OOTP "logo" request for friend w/cancer
This is for all of the talented artists we have here in the OOTP community. I have a friend who has been bravely battling esophageal cancer the last several months, and continues to do so. A group of family and friends has taken part in the American Cancer Society Relay For Life for several years, and this year we're spotlighting our friend Todd while he battles away.
As part of his fight, he's embraced this boxing image of "And down goes cancer!" He even bought these little boxing glove keychains and has written "And down goes cancer" on the boxing gloves, giving them out to family, friends, supporters. So, what I'm looking for is if someone can come up with a boxing glove logo that would have "And down goes cancer" either on the glove, surrounding the glove, whatever. We're hoping to have some sort of logo we can put on the back of our team shirts for the event. Worst case, we'll just put the words in block lettering or something, but we'd like something that would look nice and offer that littler extra support to Todd. One last request would be that the glove or the text be periwinkle blue, as that's the color of the esophageal cancer awareness ribbon. Any and all help here would be greatly appreciated! I post here because I know we have a lot of graphic talent and a lot of great people! Thanks in advance! |

How's this? I hope the color is right. I got the glove image from:
Boxing Gloves Icons I don't have a clue about any copyright or licensing issues. Within the last year, my 5-year old niece was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer called DIPG. So anything cancer related resonates with me. |

Works out great for our purposes! I think the periwinkle blue can be a tough thing to nail down, but it looks good to me.
I think he'll be really pleased with it! |
