New Free Agent Jersey and Cap

I grew tired of the boring FA uniform...

These go in the Folder ..\OOTP14\data\facegen\3d\

Backup the original Body.png and baseball_cap_base.png first, just in case.

UPDATE: A second version is available below with transparent buttons.

You put a shadow on the template and it showed up on the jersey!! I didn't think that was possible.

Yup. The Red color shows as black. I was afraid that fading it in any way would cause it to fail, as it essentially changes the color code. But nope... worked like a charm.

However, I don't like the buttons... so expect a revision eventually! Heh.

Can you get that to work with wrinkles too?

It would be cool if they could add a fourth color (yellow) to always be the shading color. Then we could make better in game templates with shading

Nope, couldnt get any of the jersey wrinkles to work. Changing the wrinkles layer to red, just darkened the entire jersey. When I tried changing the layer style, it changed the color of the layer too much and became translucent.

Is there any alternative to that dull baseball in the background? It is dark and boring. IMO.

Thanks,

There is a new option in OOTP23 in Game -> Game Settings -> Players & Facegen that allows free agents to wear suits (of random design).

I tried out the suits...I'd use it if there were a way to get rid of the caps. Just a weird look. Seems there should be a way to make the cap texture transparent?

No no, we have hair texture attached to the player face, but it's just a texture, no hair model.
The managers also wear caps with suits.

This is a nice addition to the game IMHO. Using the suits and really liking them. Not to fussed over the hats, knew they'd be there.

Thanks for adding them in.
