1978 and 1964 Topps cards
1978 - wish I could've made the team name on the front bigger, file attached below.
Hope to have the 1964 Topps finished tomorrow. 1964 example Last edited by klavier; 05-22-2013 at 10:20 PM. Reason: forgot 64 example |

It's been awhile since I've been working on these... how do you get the player to appear in front of the border but the background not to? I recall there being some "new" attributes to define the facegen creation on the card, but I can't find that info anymore.

'78 Topps is by far my favorite set. Thank you for this!
I hope you (or someone) finds a way to enlargen the team name on front though, it just doesn't look quite right this way. |

Unfortunately, heightwise that is as large as the font can go right now. Last edited by klavier; 05-23-2013 at 10:03 AM. |

1964 is finished. All-star and HoF text replace the team name on the front and the award card has the award type on the back.

1978 and 1964 Topps cards
I notice you use images for the al and Nl all star cards. What happens if it is a fictional league that has different names?

Looking at it now, doing the separate images for AL and NL wasn't necessary. All all-star cards will have the shield logo with the subleague's abbreviation, fictional sub-leagues not abbreviated AL or NL use the verabd/bold font. Since it works for now I'll leave it until I find something else to update on the card.

I decided that I had to install a bb card mod. My younger brother and I started to collect baseball cards in 1978...we had piles of them. So, naturally, I searched for a Topps '78 mod, and ended up here.
This made my day! |

This set could be much better. I just don't have the skill to do it. Team name needs an update.

What I did was use an XML from a set that was kind of similar and messed around with it to refine it to get this. It's not perfect, but it's close and I like it.
