MLB Default Caps & Jerseys? (Possible Request)
Instead of seeing that bland and ugly default jersey Free Agents have is there a way to create a say jersey that has the MLB logo on it, same with the cap and use it in place of the default jersey?
So for example anytime you pull up a player that is not on a team they at least have a generic cool looking MLB-style jersey instead of white dull and boring jersey that looks like a table cloth. Anyone know?

I haven't tested it but I would assume if you replace the "default_jersey" file with a user created one named the same it would work...
So like this would be an example of what we'd replace the cap with as the "default": Then for the jersey, just possible a white jersey that says "Major League Baseball" or the official logo on the left chest area... I think that would be legit!

Gern did these a while back... I believe there are some restrictions on what you can do with these... I think you have to use the three colors shown in these, red, green and blue... Maybe Gern will chime in and clear that up for you...

Cap:
I know it's not exactly what you wanted, but I like it quite a bit.

Man that is a buzz kill if they have to be those three colors... seems odd though, since the default in game is a white jersey with a black cap?

Looks great!!!! Thanks for doing this! I hope I can use them in game, I have to test this out here shortly to see... since TR said they may have to be the red, blue, green colors.

I think because the default FA jersey uses the league colors, and the trialpha reds and blues and greens are used as keys for which color to go where. So if your league's xolors were white and blue (the default) then the free agent jsey will be white and blue.

You could try, as I have never tried to change the default jersey. On second thought it would probably work, but if you wanted a true default jersey, one you could use in any league, the colors would have to be the red, green, and blue.

Bump. Any more info on this? I still am confused on the red, blue, green thing...
Below is what the "default" is when players aren't on a team/are free agents... and there is black, white, blue so why cant I use a user created jersey and cap?

Because, like with default logos, OOTP looks for any red and green in the jersey, and replaces those with the league colors (blue and white by default). |

Damn, they need to fix that, the default one is better then that red, green, and blue one. that is way to bright. We should be able to customize that. After all, we can customize every other single thing

But when it shows up in game it will be blue and white, or whatever the league colors are. |
