Tough Loco Design Needed

This is a tough request, I think... but you guys do the impossible on the Logos Forum.
It's for a new Dynasty League... the State Line League will begin soon. This logo is the last thing I need... everything else has been done thanks to a group of fine Modders.

Team Name: RUSSELLVILLE TRAVELERS
Concept: a semi-pro team that travels around a lot.
I didn't find any "traveler" images in my searches. I think the Arkansas Travelers and Little Rock Travelers are the only ones that used the nickname... and I didn't care for the logos... Asheville Tourists didn't fit well, either.

See if you can come up something like this:
... a ballplayer carrying suitcases...or a suitcase with a large fancy script "R" inside a big baseball... the big "R" on the suitcase might be the easiest to do... the script "R" is shown below on the team cap... the darkest brown might show up best on the suitcase for the "R"... the suitcase could be tan.

Your ideas and creations are welcome, too.

I would like something with a sense of travel... not modern... league will start in the 20's to the 50's... haven't decided yet.

Or you can just do a basic, generic logo with no special images.

Team Colors, fonts and sample images posted.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Have you tried looking at logos for vacationers, pioneers or Trekkers? those are closely related to the word Travelers.

Yeah, and you guys me caused a huge problem... I can't decide which one to use.

I will probably alternate them a year at a time.

There is nothing wrong with any of these... I downloaded them and installed them in the game and they load up just fine...

I guess it's my computer illiteracy then.

I tried to download them to my computer folder... maybe that was the problem.

I'll try to put them in the game folder.

I downloaded them into the game... Windows must have had a problem with the large sized logo... OOTPB doesnt't.

I use Photoshop for that kind of editing and Xara designer for designing.

Photoshop is best for raster images and Xara is best for vector images.

The logo I found had the suitcase, I stripped the "R" from the cap and recolored everything.

Just right click on the item you want to download and then click save as and point to where you want to save it... Windows is not going to have a problem with saving these logos, the files are not that big... Most of them are less than 100 kb at least these three that I made here are...

That suitcase graphic already had stickers on it...

That's the procedure I always use, but for some reason Windows didn't like it... could be I hit something other than "save image as"... I've been known to do that.
