Logo challenge

This is the crest for the defunct Memphis rogues soccer team here's the challenge I would like it modernized I would like to cut the soccer ball out of it I would like it to say Memphis Rogues FC now I know it's not a baseball logo but it is a challenge so I ask is there anyone here willing to accept the challenge ( I have tinkered with it a bit but had no such luck with it so I decided to defer to the talented artists on here any help would be appreciated thank you )

If you want to put something there that is fine but yes I want the soccer ball gone in short what I want is a modern soccer crest that updates this brand so that I can use it in a fantasy league

Sorry MG, this is not doable (for me at least). I can take the elephant off the background easily enough. I can change colors, background, etc easily enough. But without the soccer ball there you just have 2/3 of an elephant with his foot in the air with no context for why. It looks like hell.

i like the soccer ball there. If you are trying to modernize it, perhaps a more modern ball pattern would work?
