A Thanks to the Modding Community

I recently experienced a hard drive crash. Lost a lot of stuff. Luckily I always maintain a backup copy of my OOTP files, so at least my games were safe. But one thing I somehow never thought to backup was my logo and jersey folder - including my template and all my resources.

I was more than a little devastated. I mean, there's a ton of custom logos I'll never be able to perfectly replicate again. And my template was created with over five years of tweaking, adding shadows here and textures there. It's not something that could just be instantly re-made.

But thanks to the modding community's archives, including everything hosted at OOTPMods, I do believe I came pretty darn close. Between Gern's shadow layers, cephasjames's logo pack, the Nickname Project, etc. etc. I've been able to begin to rebuild. So I want to give a massive thanks to everyone who keeps their templates and collections available for use. What I thought was going to be a huge undertaking only took the better part of a day because of you guys. As soon as I get everything back to normal, I'm uploading my template and joining that group - partly for my benefit, but also for anyone who goes through what I just did.

Now to get working on my collection of 300+ fonts.

I had a similar issue but luckily I had a back-up of almost everything. The only thing I lost was my font collection.

Talk about a painful loss. I can only imagine your frustration.
