Starkville Styx Jerseys and Caps Needed

I am expanding my new State Line League dynasty soon and need jerseys and caps.

I did the very basic, simple logo using justafan's great logo creator and the STYX lettering from cephasjames' great collection... the Skull is a free art.

STARKVILLE STYX... I saw the STYX lettering in cephasjames' collection and thought something connected to the river Styx in Hell might go together well..."Sticks from Hell" could be the team slogan, indicating a group of heavy hitters or sticks... I found the Skull with the bats in cliparts.

Interesting note: According to one tradition, Achilles was dipped in the waters of the Styx river by his mother during his childhood, acquiring invulnerability, with exception of his heel, by which his mother held him. This is the source of the expression Achilles' heel, a metaphor for a vulnerable spot.

Colors: BLACK AND WHITE

HOME JERSEY... WHITE WITH BLACK LETTERING with nickname STYX... use my STYX if you can... or create your own... no neck or button line trim might look best with the STYX lettering... should you use Neck and Button Hole trim, please make it wide... your choice to use it or not... you are the best judge of what looks good... use CROSSED BATS image on sleeve.

HOME CAP... WHITE CAP WITH BLACK LETTERING... make the "S" large, so it will show up well on the game screens.

AWAY JERSEY... MEDIUM GRAY WITH BLACK LETTERING... please use team name STARKVILLE.in BLOCK LETTERING... use CROSSED BATS on sleeve.

AWAY CAP... BLACK CAP WITH WHITE LETTER "S" trimmed in MEDIUM GRAY... OR MEDIUM GRAY LETTER "S" trimmed in WHITE (whichever you think looks better)... make S large enough to see on OOTPB player pictures.

Sorry for not replying sooner... I had some computer problems early this afternoon.

baseballonly, thanks for doing the jerseys and the caps for me... they are well done except for the colors... I prefer Black to the Purple.

If possible, please make these revisions:

TEAM COLORS: BLACK, GRAY AND WHITE

HOME JERSEY... just a White Jersey... with STYX lettering trimmed in Black.. no stripes... and if possible, no Nike emblem... use the same neck trim style that's on the Road Gray Jersey...make the neck trim Black... skull done in black and white with red eyes on White sleeve...if possible, increase the size of the skull if you can, so it will be more visible in the game.

HOME CAP: White Cap with Black Block "S" Lettering... if possible use a different font on the "S", which doesn't have the little point on the top of the "S".

AWAY JERSEY: the original is fine except for the color... please make STARKVILLE Black in color... and if possible curve the STARKVILLE lettering... put the STYX on a Black sleeve so it will have better contrast than on the Gray sleeve... if possible, increase the size of the STYX letters... the neck trim is excellent on the original jersey... please make the neck trim Black... if possible, remove the Nike emblem.

AWAY CAP: Black Cap with White Block "S"... remove the little "point" on the "S"... just a basic Block Letter will do.

The Black Alternate Jersey is excellent... just make the sleeves all Medium Gray and place the skull image on one of them... it would be nice if you could make the skull a little larger so it will show up better in the game.

EC, first of all, I am NOT ThatSeventiesGuy. I can try to do those edits, but I'll be out of town Monday-Thursday so I might not be able to complete them until next weekend. Second, I do not see the "purple" in the uniform, but it's probably just me, although it is just the blue which was pulled off the logo, so I guess the shading messed it up a bit. Will try to play with it. I can cut out the skull logo but that will take a bit of time as well, so again, there will be a delay.

Maybe ThatSeventiesGuy, since he is a better designer (I just use jersey maker) and he will be able to fufil it sooner, would be willing to finish this?

My sincere apology, I am sorry for my mistake.
ThatSeventiesGuy had just done the last set of jerseys and caps for me and his name was still fresh in my mind.
I hope we are still friends... the last thing I want to do is offend someone on the OOTPB Forums. You guys have been too good to me to ever be rude or discourteous in any way.

Your work is just as good as the other people that have graciously done work for me over the years. It wasn't my intention to hurt your feelings or criticize your work.

I didn't realize that there was blue on the STYX lettering... I thought it was black...I don't make jerseys - I didn't realize you pull the color from the original sample - I just thought you would use Black, Gray and White per my request..

I would be willing to wait for the revisions, should you want to do them, but do not want to impose on you. If the revisions take too much time, I will be happy with the blue jerseys and caps as they are.

I have no problem if you don't want to revise the jerseys and caps... some graphics designers don't make revisions and I respect that... you get what you get and live with it ... which is fine with me as I am getting impressive logos, jerseys and caps for free... that's a pretty good deal.

Don't spend a lot of time on revising these jerseys unless you want to do it.

I am fine with the blue jerseys... they are very well done.
