photoshop altered Hall of Fame plaques, sculpted look
Final version of my experiment, to get the plaque look you have to do some photoshop editing after creating the card (pretty quick and simple though, instructions below)
here is the basic card template save both .png files (uses the stone looking background for the picture backing. Looks best with color or BW photos, if you change the silver to bronze in photoshop the sepia facegen will look great too (especially with doing a plaque look). update on how my HOF is looking in game Last edited by Aumakua; 05-04-2016 at 09:18 PM. final version of plaque
photoshop elements editing: -I find it easiest to use color facegen when the card/plaque is first created by the game because it makes the quick selection part easier -open card image in photoshop/elements (its in the same "news/html/images" subdirectory as cards, but under "hof" -quick select the player face, usually with just a few clicks I have the face/cap/shoulders, you can use the mask selection if you want to fine tune it but its usually not necessary. -copy and paste the selected layer onto itself (reason for this is below), make sure you line it up right *make sure you have the new layer selected for all the next steps -remove color if starting from color image -go to "artistic" filter "poster edges", I find that a setting of 0 - 0 - 4 works best -go to layer style and add a bezel, I like size 3-4 with lighting angle 90, then add a shadow, I like settings of 4 - 2 and 90% opacity (can only do this part if you copy pasted the image) -save as .png over the current file in the "hof" folder. Go back into game and you are all done. more on back logo to come... Last edited by Aumakua; 04-25-2016 at 07:23 PM. |
