2016 Logo Sets for OOTP 17

The rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated. Anywho, I haven't contributed anything in some time, so let me share these logo sets with you all.

2016 Logo sets

Simple Style Logo Set for MLB Quickstart (560 logos)
- Includes all MLB/MiLB team logos.
- primary logos in my Simple style and secondary (small) plain (non-circular) logos with thick white outlines for better viewing when using the dark skin.

Simple Style Logo Set for Standard MLB Game (924 logos)
- Includes all MLB/MiLB/International team logos.
- primary logos in my Simple style and secondary (small) plain (non-circular) logos with thick white outlines for better viewing when using the dark skin.

Glossy Style Logo Set for MLB Quickstart (560 logos)
- Includes all MLB/MiLB team logos.
- primary logos in my Glossy style and secondary (small) plain (non-circular) logos with thick white outlines for better viewing when using the dark skin.

Glossy Style Logo Set for Standard MLB Game (924 logos)
- Includes all MLB/MiLB/International team logos.
- primary logos in my Glossy style and secondary (small) plain (non-circular) logos with thick white outlines for better viewing when using the dark skin.

Plain(non-circular) Logo Set for MLB Quickstart (560 logos)
- Includes all MLB/MiLB team logos.
- primary logos in Plain (non-circular) form and secondary (small) plain (non-circular) logos with thick white outlines for better viewing when using the dark skin.

Plain(non-circular) Logo Set for Standard MLB Game (924 logos)
- Includes all MLB/MiLB/International team logos.
- primary logos in Plain (non-circular) form and secondary (small) plain (non-circular) logos with thick white outlines for better viewing when using the dark skin.

I'm not sure of the best way to load these since things have changed so much with OOTP, but the way I do it is to rename the logos folder to "logos (Original)" then create a new logos folder and copy the new logos to the new folder. Now when you start a new league, OOTP will load these logos automatically. If you already have a league, you would also delete all logos in your leagues "saved_games\2016 MLB.lg\news\html\images\league_logos" and "saved_games\2016 MLB.lg\news\html\images\team_logos" folders, then when you start OOTP logos will be loaded.

If anyone knows a better way to do this, please chime in.

NOTE: The small logo for the Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks in the can-am / american association for some wierd reason doesn't load automatically in OOTP, so you will need to manually load it yourself. To do this, goto the Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks Home/Settings/Modify Team Colors, Logos and Textures then Select the Secondary logo from your logos folder.

would you be willing to do 3 more league logos?
The default Gulf Coast, Arizona and Dominican Summer league logos are not the real ones.. I can post the real logos for you if it would make it easier?

I would love these too. I have these from last year (which may be of use to you, qcbandits), but I bet justafan could make us some much better looking ones, particularly for the DSL. I'm personally not a fan of the one with the shading effect, and the quality of the non-glossy one isn't very good... but they'll do!

By the way justafan, the logos in your set are outdated for a few teams:

Nashville Sounds
San Antonio Missions
Tacoma Rainiers
Memphis Redbirds

I believe these all changed their primary logos last year. Just wanted to let you know. Thank you for all the work you do, I love using your logos each year! Been using them since OOTP 12.

EDIT: My mistake, the logos for Nashville, Tacoma, and San Antonio are correct. I just had to refresh them as the old logos that came with OOTP "out of the box" were the old ones from 2014. The primary Memphis logo is also correct, but it does appear that they are using a new "M" as a secondary logo, no longer the one below to the left. Instead, the same "M" from the script logo, pictured on the right.

The reason I used the OOTP default logos is that they also changed the names of the leagues and I wanted them to match.

Hey dude, on your old thread you have a ton of logos but photobucket is worse than a kidney stone. Can you upload them to media or can you send them to me and I can upload them to my website to host them for you?

You can download a whole album at a time and it's not that tough to do.
