To be fair, the old logo was *horrible* - easily one of the worst in MILB. It wasn't even fresh when it was new.

But of all the choices for a new name, well, they were horrible too. And the fans thought so. Hillcats won in a rout.

I don't know what their choices were for nicknames, but it should of been Lemonade.

Yep. I hate it. New and kitschy is all fine. But that is an old team name with a long tradition. That should not be discarded for something new and not all that great anyway.

That seems to be a trend. Get rid of the old traditional names for something completely random like Fire Frogs or Yard Goats.

I get that they were trying to be regional and inclusive, especially because of their small market, but what the hell is wrong with calling them Kinston? Down East is a very specific regional identifier that will leave 97% of the country scratching their heads.
