I've updated the American section of the names file. Info was taken directly from census bureau. There are more names, and more common names are given more emphasis (but not over abundant). This was done by increasing the overall scale. In other words, the lowest "random pick" number is still one, but now the most common name (Smith) has a value of 1006, instead of 97.

In simple terms, in the old file the Smith:Sisk ratio was 97:1, now it's 1006:5.

In a test league of 30 teams (no minors), 30 as the foreigner percentage (default MLB setup), I had these results:

Jones 5 5
Williams 11 8
Johnson 2 11
Brown 5 3
Smith 10 3
Davis 3 4

(you can't search espn.com by first name, if you're wondering)

A couple of names are off a bit (there were about 8 Johnsons in my FA pool without teams), but for the most part I think the results are good.

The other nationalities haven't been touched.

The additional names shouldn't bog your system down but for a few additional seconds during load.
