Editing Existing Nations

I'm running an online league where one of the options I'm trying out is to set up 'baseball academies" where a team would pay a certain amount of cash (manually taken out of their finances) in order to improve baseball talent in a foreign nation.

The problem is whenever I try to manually alter the baseball level of another country, the new rating doesn't show up the next time I open the game, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, nations.txt is not dynamic. You cannot start a world, improve a nation's baseball quality, then have the new value be used. Any change has to be made to that file before creating the game.

This is a feature request for OOTP 2007.

. BTW, I thought I might be the only one from Dayton who has OOTP06 lol, Go Dragons/Reds

There's probably 10. One relative won't upgrade past ver4, even when I told him that ver5 is free.
