Creating New Nameset (New Ethnic Group)

The excellent customization guide from Battisti stats that you can replace one of the current name sets with a new one. For instance,

Vietnamese, 38 becomes Hobbitt, 38

Is it possible to leave the originals in tact and simply add a new identifier (if you plan on adding the nations, city info that point to it in the other files?

Hobbitt, 40
Elf, 41

etc....

No, it is not possible. It is currently limited. That was a design choice made a long while back, and this limitation has been pointed out to Markus as a bit constricting.

If you want to add a ethnic group, you have to take one out. Best bet is the last one, US Historicals.
