Nations.dat question

So I've edited nations.dat for a custom league. Of course, I've saved a backup of the original.

Now, once I create this league with my custom nations.dat, is it okay to replace my custom nations with the old default nations? Because I'm not sure if I want this for EVERY league that I'm using.

I realize every game file has a world.dat with it - I'm assuming that's what each individual game file looks at when it boots up/creates new players/etc and NOT the nations.dat file in the database?

You're right. When you make a league, that partiular league takes a "snapshot" of the core nations.dat file, and that snapshot becomes the permanent setup for that league. The old original core nations.dat never effects the league again, unless you choose to cause that to happen somehow.
