Cant Get The Flag to Work

Alright guys, I cant get the flag to work for a created nation.

The initials are correct
The size is correct
I have it saved in the right spot
The format is correct
The nation exists

What am I missing?

Close your game and re-check everything. Make sure the nation 3 digit abbreviation, and the flag abbreviation match. Flag is .png format (32 bit depth...check the "properties"). Flag is in your saved game's "database>nations flags" folder(s). The nation has cities. Re-open your game. HTH.

Ok thats the only thing I could think of was that the nation did not have cities. So is that where I messed up?

Don't know. Did you get it to work? If not, add a couple of cities for your new nation and see if that helps.
