Messed up a customized name file

I have successfully done this several times in the past (customized names) only for U.S. players (so ending in a "0"). I tried doing this in OOTP12 but now no players are generated from the U.S. I seem to recall having this issue in the past but I can't remember how I fixed it or what I did wrong. The game just won't generate any U.S. names after I replaced the game's U.S. names with my own.

This continues even after I deleted my customized name files and reimported names database.

If anyone has an idea what I did wrong and can tell me, I'd appreciate it. Every customized name I use is XXX,1,0 (I want even distribution so frequency is 1 for everything).

The name files (first and first_name) are the only files I edited.

You sound like you now how to do it. Must be a typo or something, like using "O" instead of "0".
