Anyways, I guess I'll bring up something that no one has really talked about I don't think. Cubby and Erich doing separate rosters; that hasn't really happened before has it?

On a more on-topic note, can someone clarify the differences between the two roster sets?

And it shouldn't need to be said, but apparently it does- respect and gratitude are owed to Erich and Cubbyfan and all who have assisted for donating many, many hours of their lives to providing the OOTP community with quality roster sets. Doing this job right is a gargantuan task, and I'm sure at least 99% of this forum shares my gratitude for the work that you and Cubby have put into this so far, all the more so because of the high standard you are upholding. Speaking personally, I'd rather the rosters be done well than done quickly, and I find it disappointing (to be diplomatic), when people complain that the rosters aren't finished.

100% agreed.

I am (as you can see) only a Bat Boy, and have enjoyed this game for only about 6months, but understand how hard it is to create the roster sets. Even though I am one of the people who come in here everyday to check how the project is going, I never feel like putting pressure on the people who are spending as much time and energy as possible for all of us.

If we feel like we can not wait for this roster-set, then there are always ways to enjoy this great game! (Fictional/Historical, On Line, Even Dynasty report!)

Let us all wait.

After all, this is supposed to be a game, something we do for fun!

Because there are alot of people out there, me being one of them, that put alot of time into this project 2 and a half months ago and have no idea where it stands. I'm not calling out erich, just wishing he would send it off to someone else if he doesn't have the time.

Yeah... I've been following all this roster stuff silently so far. It's one thing to do something on your own and be like "Alright... this isn't fun anymore." But it's another to get a lot of people to help you and then leave them in the dark about it.

The dude Jack's been all about getting this thing out... seems like you've got the ideal horse to finish this thing up, man.

I think roster makers are learning some valuable lessons.

Next year they should release the set in steps. First, MLB and AAA all done, then add another level for each release with updated ratings and such.

I thought these were close to done a while ago. There's a message on 5/16 that the expectation was these would be released within a week, but that was a month ago.

It's not going to be finished. It's that simple. Just wait for Cubbyfan's set, which will not be long. Between Erich and AP, I don't trust either at this point, and never will again.
