I don't know about anyone else but I could care less about college feeder leagues and 2007 draft picks. If I could get opening day MLB rosters and relatively accurate AAA/AA/A rosters I'd be perfectly happy.

Of course this is your project and you make the call on what is to be included...

I'll work on the Big East rosters.

I would try the individual school websites, they usually have the most accurate info.

Is my idea of a separate forum somewhere strictly dealing with the rosters appealing now? It seems like there are plenty of people around to keep it up to date with team and player information.

I have my spreadsheet for the 2006 MLB Draft file done for "Round/Pick#/Pos/Last/First/Team/Signed(Y/N)" completed and is just waiting for player info. I will email it to whomever PMs me and I or someone else can combine the work when complete. We can split it up by divisions or teams if we have more interested. All that is needed is the player's info and some double checking on whether or not the player is still on their original draft team.

I appreciate all of the effort as well, but I agree with this statement as well. But, once again, it's your roster set, but a beta would be appreciated.

Agreed. Would be wonderful to just have a roster set (MLB and minors) - others are not that important to me.

Oh that is not a problem with releasing once the Opening Day rosters are available.

Expansion should totally be possible. I've done so with Cubby's beta rosters, and had no problems.

I have a related question concerning use of roster sets in general. Is it possible to continue a league into 2008 after starting in 2007 with only real players, and if so whats the best way to continue? I mean this to be in "real time" so we will be doing 2008 after start of actual season. Just need to know how to add the 2007 ammies with sensible ratings.
