someone please help with two things

I am just not figuring out two things when editing the Databases.

1) how does the game establish which team a player is on when the league first starts?

2) how does the game determine when a player shows up in the ammy draft?

Also are these function controlled in teh master list or in the hitting/pitching DBs?

thanks.

Originally, a player is with the team whose opening day roster he was on and a player shows up the year he made his MLB debut, even if he only had 1 AB or 1 IP.

Some databases have changed this. I think the answer to the first question remains the same, but it is popular now for players to appear in the ammy draft in their first year of professional baseball. That means the first year that they signed with a MLB team (players are often drafted out of high school by a team but choose to go to college). Players that appear based on their pro debut are not usually major league ready; players that appear based on their big league debut are sometimes, maybe even often (I haven't played much OOTP recently), big league ready.

I hope this helps. PM me if you have further questions, I don't check this forum often.
