Facepack Problem...Can someone help?

Ok, I'm doing a 1980's historical league and have found some amazing facepacks on the web.

I have all the photos in my "pictures" folder, and for 90 percent of the league they work great. However, there are some players, 3 that I've noticed on the team I'm managing particularly, where pictures don't show up (I'm getting the computer generated ones) even though there are appropriately named photos in the folder.

Is there anything that could be causing this? I've done a "Forced Update" and the pictures still aren't showing up.

It doesn't look like in the editor mode I have the ability to assign a player picture, which seems odd. Is this option available and I'm just not seeing it?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

First, move all of your pictures into the 'photos' folder... as that is the correct place not 'pictures' and that will probably solve the problem. (not 100% sure, as I didn't know a 'pictures' folder even existed until just now)

But you'll probably have to do something else..

Go into your the saved game folder for your league -- go to news/html/images
In that folder will be the fictional pictures that you didn't want. Delete them.

note: when using 'forceupdate' or any of the picture function keys -- they are only in relation to fictional pictures.

Okay, I've got Player_0 to Player_15000 picture files in that images folder, should I delete them all? Somehow I also have a bunch of the real facepack photos in there, though I never copied them into there.

all that I have in the pictures folder is the 'default_player_photo' and the 'demo'. You can delete them all as long as you have all of your jpeg files somewhere else so you don't have to redownload them. If those are all jepgs then you just select all and move them into the photos folder. It will take a long time though so be patient and don't try and do anything else at the same time unless your computer is heavy duty, just wait for all of them to move over.
