So, the answer was 'no'.
Just out of curiosity, and I'm really not trying to be a dick here, but you obviously spent a LOT of time (I'm guessing hundreds of hours) developing this db. What did you intend it to be used for? I've been trying, and I really can't come up with a use for it. It doesn't even seem to fit a 'franchise all-time best players' criterion. What kind of league would you expect to be formed around it?

It is to create a professional baseball league starting in 1871.
Not just a major league game but a professional league with many players and levels. Players have full professional careers, not just major league careers. A player might spend 30 days in the majors and 22 years in the minors with this db. This db usually has around 1,000 to 2,000 historical players playing during any one year rather than the 500 Lahman produces. IRL there were as many as 6,000 playing some years. This is as close to that as I care to get. I like full immersion immersionally speaking. |

http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...uickstart.html With the additions of all the extra players and japanese & negro league players it works great to provide an enormous number of players for semi-historical leagues set in quasi english premier league style format. ![]() Or any type of fictional league setup you could come up with. If you are going to have a fictional league you might as well get all of the extra players from all the different time periods. |
