MLB 2k10 - The Show Stadium Pack

Thanks to PSUCornel for bringing up MLB 2K 10 as a source for the best 2010 ballpark images I've seen and rabbitzk749 for pointing us to the Operation Sports forums.

I have gone and collected the day and night graphics of all 30 ballparks that were posted on that site and reformatted them and converted them to JPG to fit into OOTP. I have tested them in OOTP 9, 10 and 11. will be sending these to PadresFan so he can also add them to the mods section of his site but in the mean time, the ZIP can be downloaded from my server at My UABL website. The set includes all 30 ballparks including the new Twins field, Target Field! A few examples are attached as a preview.

Download the MLB 2k10 - The Show Stadium Pack

My next step, though I don't have time for it now, would be to create OOTP 10 and 11 .prk Park files to include in this set. That way, the ballparks can be set up and imported with one click into the game. If anyone has time to whip up the version 10 park files to go with these images, I'll gladly add them to the archive.

Enjoy!

These really do look great. Any chance that you could post the classic stadiums as well?

The minor league and training camp stadium would be great too.

Just reading though the stadium thread, I didn't see any park images like these posted other than the modem 30 parks, but I'll take a walk though again and see if any classic or fictional (sometimes added for expansion clubs) exist on the site. Minor league parks might be a stretch, unfortunately. I'll ask and see if any could potentially be posted though.

I'm sure you'd have to adjust the ball flight yourself.

I'm planning to, once my beta testing duties are reduced, to go back and update PadresFans 2009 ballpark mod to use these images. So all player images/labels and ball flights will then be updated. If anyone else has time while I'm beta testing to help out with this it would be appreciated. Will update this thread once I free up time to do this.

It works great. I've only done Fenway though. If you don't change it yourself, then they are off quite a bit. As far as setting them yourself, expect the Right and Left field to be cramped as well as outfied depth, but not a problem. Just takes a little more time to set. Player setup is as perfect as it can get I think. Once you hit pbp, and just the names show, they line up almost perfectly with the players on the field.
DF, I can help with the park files. PM me will you please....

Best Info I could find. In many places LF is also listed as Left Center and RF as Right Center...So for the 2 missing values I don't know what to use.

LF Line 339 ft - Wall 8 ft
LF 377 ft - Wall 8 ft
CF 404 ft - Wall 8 ft
RF 367 ft - Wall 23 ft
RF Line 328 - Wall 23 ft

Not sure if OOTPX or OOTP11 is using the day/night or can get those different images, but it would be nice to have a day/night for each stadium.

Sad to play a 1:05pm game in the dark.

Not quite sure what you mean, but if it's what I think, for OOTPX you can get both day and Night pics to show in the game. You have to set it up by going to each teams home page and click on "Options & Ballpark" then "Edit Ballpark". From that screen, click on "Pictures & Coordinates". On that screen, click on "..." to the right of Daytime pic and do the same for Night time pic. Then select the the pic you want to use and you should be all set. Just make sure your ballpark pics are put in the game\data\ballparks folder. That's the only place they go. Hope this is what you meant and hope this helps If not and your looking for day/night. Then download these. They are both day/night and include the new Twins park as well. These are the only pics I use now and can't see that changing any time soon. For me, they're perfect. You can get them here
http://padresfanmods.net/
Click on OOTP then Ballparks. It's the top file at the moment
