Hey Cubbie, I really appreciate all the time and effort you put into your roster sets. I have a purely cosmetic question. Is there any way you can put the all in one mod into your roster set? I've been playing with the stock set while I wait for your's and I've grown quite attached to the ballpark images, logos, etc.

Sure - I don't have any particular attachment to any set of logos, etc. Could you point me in the direction of the one you use and I'll include it?

I"m not sure where to get it. It's just the all in one that you can download inside the game. Sorry.

I suspect his roster set will be much better than the stock version. I attempted to start a league with the stock roster and again after the patch that "fixed" it, but there are loads of errors. I play the KC Royals and the rosters were supposed to be opening day, well I had to reassign at least 10 players from MLB to AAA or vice versa. Now that is just 1 team and I was only attempting to get the MLB level correct, I am sure the minors were a mess, the ratings looked terrible, and who knows about the other 29 teams. I have been waiting for CF's roster and hopefully it comes out this weekend. My 2nd child is being born Monday so would like to have something to do while sitting in the hospital for days when everyone but me is sleeping

Just wanted to say that I'm very much looking forward to this roster release, as it really signifies the true "opening day" for me with this game going forward.

Same here.. I saw that he's on the forums.. I'd love to be able to start a season and play a few series while I watch the Sox/Yanks game!

Alright everyone - enjoy! There's four files below, the first roster set is the preseason 2011 rosters, and the second is a "current" roster set, with the date remaining the start of season but updated roster moves (i.e. Hunter Pence to the Phils, etc.)

There are two corresponding photopacks as well, with the second including updated photos for players who were moved mid-season.

Included in both roster sets are:

Updated contracts
Correct service time for all players
Re-rated hitting, fielding and pitching ratings based on advanced metrics and prediction systems, such as ZiPS, UZR, etc.
Pitch types and custom pitch ratings based on pitch data from FanGraphs
Rerated Top 30 prospects across all organizations

One thing to keep an eye on, which may require a small release tomorrow to update, is whenever I imported and exported data, it seems it brought back some of those contracts for veterans such as Javier Vazquez, Eric Chavez, etc. who were on one year deals but the game was showing them on their original contract from pre-2011. I went through and removed these tonight, but there may be one or two lurking still. If you see anything funny with contracts, give me a shout in this thread.
