Full NCAA Division I Universe

Going to build this as a template for use. Only problem I have is getting the hats for all teams.

What is featured:
-Team Logos, Caps and Jerseys contributed by eriqjaffe
-Rosters contributed by lukasberger and RyanVB8
-All 299 NCAA Division I Teams plus New Orleans (couldn't do 299 teams properly)
-All 31 NCAA Division I Conferences (ACC, Ivy League, MAC, Sun Belt, SEC, SWAC and Pac-12 split into divisional play)
-Each Conference (or division as written in OOTP) champion receives automatic bid to the playoffs.
-At-large bids per conference are deemed by a six-year average of automatic bids. Conferences that do not have more than the "conference" champion can fight for one of the seven open at-large positions.
-NO Independents as they are placed in their respective conferences:
--Cal State Bakersfield (joins WAC in 2013)
--Dallas Baptist (Missouri Valley in 2012; joins WAC in 2013)
--Longwood (Independent this season, Big South in 2013)
--Seattle (joins WAC in 2013)
--Teams switching conferences for 2012 already switched within database (all 2011-2012 conference changes; did not change for 2012-2013 alignment)
-Authentic 2012 NCAA schedule and alternate with fictional schedule.
-64-team tournament with first three rounds best-of-three, 3 home, 0 away, deemed "NCAA Regionals", "Regional Finals" and "Super Regionals"
-Fourth Round deemed "College World Series Quarterfinals" and is 1-1-1.
-CWS Final is a 2-2-1 format.

All teams are added to the game but scheduling and team options incomplete.

The "conferences" with multiple bids to the tournament are:
ACC: 6 (top three in each division)
Atlantic Sun: 2
Big East: 3
Big Ten: 2
Big 12: 3
Big West: 3
C-USA: 2
Ivy: 2 (Gehrig and Rolfe Division)
MAC: 2 (East and West Division)
Pac-12: 4 (top two in each division)
SEC: 6 (top three in each division)
SWAC: 2 (East and West division)
Sun Belt: 2 (East and West division)

Scheduling:
Authentic Schedule completed. Filling in D2 games and game fillers.

Players:
Adding players in CollegeBaseballDaily.com's Top 100. So far 1-11 added.

The only schedules that I have completed are the America East's and ACC's. I just started on the A-10's. All of the jerseys (if applicable) and logos for the schools from A-B and the ACC schools.

If I can have eriqjaffe's permission, I can release this template once I finish it. I'm adding teams by conference right now. I can release two templates: one with a fictional schedule and the other with the authentic schedule (which could take a LOT of time).

I've thought about adding Nebraska-Omaha and Northern Kentucky to the database, even though they will not begin playing baseball at the D1 Level until 2013. All conferences will reflect 2012 setting.

I would love to have a fictional schedule just to get going. This sounds like a great project!

Nutt, if this is tested and stable, and you end up releasing it, feel free to go to OOTPMODS.COM and use the Submit button to email the file. I can post it on the new mods website for easy access and downloading.

Just a quick note: not all of the stadium dimensions, park effects, wall height, etc. are correct. I used wikipedia as a source for stadiums. Some teams I didn't look for and they have generic stadium names or their football/soccer field name.

Also, teams that share parks with Minor League teams have generic or old stadiums. Teams that split home games between locations (Belmont, Duke, Minnesota) have their campus stadiums in the game, but I will also include a notepad file of which teams play at current minor league stadiums.

Quick question about player tenure: Is there a cap on player age to simulate graduation? Do you "recruit" through a draft or is this just set set up for single season play? Thanks for your hard work!

I finished the database. I ran a test season and I keep getting players not in the age range of 18-22. Right now, I'm working on the schedule.

I plan on doing two releases and will work on permissions to get a third released:

1. With the full NCAA Schedule
2. Fictional Schedule
3. Combining with an MLB database as a feeder league with player award/history in the NCAA.

You don't recruit. I have the age limit to go from 18-22, but I do have some 17 and 23 year olds in the game.

if I can get figure out how to add historical awards, current active players in D1 will get the awards placed with them. If that is the case, I will make sure to import their season stats.

I understand that you don't actually recruit as you would in real life. My question is how do new players arrive on your team? Are they randomly added or is there a draft, free agent signing period, etc.?

When I merge it with an existing league, I will let you know.
