Australian Baseball League

Hi guys, I'm currently working on the finishing touches for the Australian Baseball League. Stats will be based on the 2010/2011 season. There is already a uniform pack available on Padres site I believe. I'll have photos for most of the players too. If anyone is interested in having the league, let me know and ill be sure to post it up.

Yeah, I'd be interested in this. As a fellow Aussie, I was considering doing something like this myself but just didn't have the time.

Sweet, the financials are abit iffy because there is no information available. So its all guesswork on that side. I've done a test run and stats are abit inflated for some players so I'm going to convert them to major league equivalencies. I guess I would rate the ABL as strong as AAA, maybe AA...I'm not sure.

Can I make a request? Can you make it as a template also? I add the ABL in 2007 to my universe. Also do you have the accurate schedule? I added mine last time in March vs November.

If you havent GMO might have a decent schedule for it in his thread.

I've copied the schedule for the upcoming 2011/2012 season, so that will be in there. Ill be sure to save it as a template. At the moment im just fiddling around with stats and league/player modifiers to create a realistic feel.

Would love to add this to my MLB-NPB-KBO universe! Would be willing to trade my NPB template for sure. I'm putting the finishing touches on it now, and it should be done in about a week I'm thinking!

And, I would suggest putting at the International Level. That makes the financials a little less complicated, with major league contracts and what not.

Why not just share your template when you're finished? As of now, there isn't an updated NPB roster set out for OOTP 12, which is why for my new latest universe (which will be released relatively soon after more testing) I've had to use my WOB 11 out-dated ones.

With CubbyFan's MLB rosters, Afterburner's KBO, STLKyle's NPB, and this Aussie database, all you need are some operable and liquid independent leagues, and you're off for a few months in your own world...

I will do so. I'm working on inputting 2010 stats. Have all the players, rookies, totally updated photo pack, ratings tweaked, roster changes made, foreign players tweaked to where they become free agents after the season; not normal arbitration eligible Japanese players, updated salaries and financials etc.

Any advice on the best way to input these stats? And, I'm having a bit of difficulty getting the NPB interleague play schedule going. Doing my best to get this done quickly!

Ok guys, the links to the quickstart, template and photopack are in the first post. Sorry for the delay. Just a note, if you combine this with the MLB you will get alot of double ups with players. So you might want to watch out for that. This is for the 2010/2011 season. I'll have the 2011/2012 season out once it finishes.

Any comments or suggestions, just let me know through this and ill get to work on it.

For the next version I'm planning to include the State Leagues (NSWML etc). So watch out for that.

I was hoping to somehow use this for the 2008 season, otherwise i'll just use a generic roster set bu i am using your setup as my base.
